1. How do I prepare for a boudoir session?
The first step is your consultation. You'll fill out our questionnaire, share your vision for the session, and tell us a bit more about yourself.
Prior to the day of your shoot, you might want to schedule a pampering session like a pedicure or facial. Lastly, don’t forget to hydrate and get plenty of rest!
2. What should I wear for my boudoir session?
Choose outfits that make you feel empowered and reflect your personality and style—think lingerie, robes, or even a casual oversized shirt. Make sure your clothes fit well and accentuate your best features.
You can bring your own pieces, choose outfits from our client closet, or mix and match! We have a wide variety of lingerie in sizes XS to 3XL, as well as accessories and shoes.

3. How much does a boudoir shoot cost?

1.5–2 hour professional studio photography session
Professional hair and makeup services
Access to the client closet

Professional retouching of all the final images you select
The overall cost of a boudoir shoot can vary significantly depending on the outfits you choose and the products you select after your shoot.
4. Is an album included?
At Beauty in Boudoir, we charge separately for the boudoir session and your album, prints, or other products. This makes it easier for each client to customize their products to fit their budget and preferences.

5. Do I need to be in perfect shape for boudoir?
Absolutely not! Boudoir photography is about celebrating your unique body, not conforming to unrealistic standards.
Confidence is key—and when you feel good about yourself, that energy shines through in the photos.
6. How long does a boudoir session take?
Typically, Beauty in Boudoir sessions last between 1.5 to 2 hours. This allows ample time for outfit changes, hair and makeup touch-ups, and creating a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.
The exact time can vary based on your needs and style choices.
7. What happens after the shoot?
Once your boudoir session is complete, you'll schedule a viewing session or to review and select your favorite images.
Your photographer will help you arrange your images in an album and can also advise on images that will make good prints or wall art if you want to display photos more prominently.
Finally, when your boudoir products are ready, you'll come back to the studio one more time to pick them up!
8. Will the photos be private?
Yes! We know privacy is a huge concern for many of our clients. We never share your images without permission.
