At Beauty in Boudoir, we've made it our mission to build our clients' confidence through personalized boudoir sessions. Traci's creative process and eye for detail make sure every woman who walks through the studio's doors shines in her photos.

From designing the sets in the studio, to guiding clients through their poses, all the way through to editing and presenting the final photos, Traci has thought of everything!

Here are just a few things that go into designing a Beauty in Boudoir session.

Before the Shoot—Boudoir Set Design

The Beauty in Boudoir studio has something for everyone. Traci has curated backdrops ranging from sweet to sultry and everything in between.

She's taken a lot of care to provide a variety of sets for every taste.

You set the mood for your boudoir session! During your consultation, make sure to talk about how you want to present yourself in your photos. Traci can help you decide which sets fit with your vision.

Getting to Know You

Speaking of your consultation, it's an important part of the creative process for any boudoir shoot.

The first step is filling out a questionnaire about your expectations for your session, what you want your photos to look like, and how you're feeling about stepping in front of the camera.

Guiding You Through Your Shoot

With the information from your consultation in mind, Traci will bring together all the details needed to make your vision a reality, including:

  • Professional hair and makeup that highlight your best features

  • Suggestions on what to borrow from the client closet

  • Which sets to choose (especially if it's your first time and you're feeling nervous)

  • How to pose to set the tone and show off your favorite assets

It's really important that you feel as comfortable as possible throughout the entire experience, so Traci also makes a point to check in frequently during the shoot.

You'll get to see sneak peeks of your photos to boost your confidence, too. Everything she does is to help you feel confident in yourself and make sure your photos turn out just like you imagined.

Choosing Your Photos

The creative process doesn't end when your boudoir shoot is over. Traci will help you put together your boudoir album so you can look back on your photos for years to come.

She has terrific insights when it comes to choosing which photos to include in your album, as well as how to arrange them on each page. The result? Stunning, intimate art you can take home and enjoy.

Boudoir is a collaboration between photographer and client, and Traci's creative process puts that relationship front and center. Get in touch to schedule your consult and experience it for yourself!
